Fei Feng

The Director of the Industrial Economics Research Department, and Research Fellow at Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council of PRC. Eng.

Fei Feng is the Director of the Industrial Economics Research Department, and Research Fellow at Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council of PRC.

Dr. Feng completed his Ph.D. in 1991. From 1991 to 1993, he pursued post-doctoral studies in Qinghua University. In 1994, he received special training in public policy at Carleton University and the University of Toronto in Canada.

Dr. Feng has been affiliated with the DRC since 1993. His research focuses on industrial development policies and restructuring and regulation of monopoly industries. He has participated in several research projects at DRC, including "National Energy Comprehensive Strategy and Policy of China," "The Strategy of Sustainable Development of Power Industry in China," "The Regulation Reform in Power Industry in China," "Strategic Restructure of China's Economic Structure," "WTO's Impact on Auto Industry," and "Reforms and Restructure of the Monopoly Industry."During his years at the DRC, Dr. Feng has received many awards from the Chinese government, including a Special Award by the Chinese central government.
