Jacques Mechelany is CEO of Bank of China (Suisse) SA, and Chairman of BOC (Suisse) Fund Management SA. In 2004, he became a Partner of Heritage Bank SA. He was Managing Director and Founding Partner of Heritage Fund Management SA, the fund and institutional asset management arm of Heritage Bank SA. In 1999, he joined the Executive Management of Union Bancaire Prive to head the Middle East and then the Middle East and Asian regions. Between 1988 and 1991, he headed the Convertible and Warrant market making operations of Kleinwort Benson Securities in London, and then moved to Monaco in 1992 where he created a HNWI asset management venture with Julius Baer. He started his career in 1984 in Convertible and Fixed Income Arbitrage at BAII in Paris and in New York. Jacques Mechelany holds a Master in Law from the University of Paris, a Degree in Economics from the University of Paris, and the Diploma of the Institut d Etudes Politiques de Paris.
