Assistant Chairman, Tianjin Carbon Exchange; Global Vice President, Chicago Climate Exchange

Assistant Chairman of Tianjin Climate Exchange. He has more than 17 years experience in financial market development in China involving informational technology and new product expansion. Before joining CCX, Mr. Huang served as managing director of ChiSurf Ltd., a Beijing-based investment bank boutique specialized in the futures and derivatives sector, which he also co-founded. In 2007, Mr. Huang advised Newedge Group, one of Europe's largest futures and derivatives brokers, in the successful establishment of a joint venture with Citic Futures Inc., a futures broker in Shanghai owned by China's Citic Group. Mr. Huang is a frequent public speaker in China and abroad, and has helped educate Chinese market participants in issues related to clearing and risk management issues. He has worked in financial services and advertisement in New York and Beijing. Mr. Huang has been a consultant for China Securities Regulatory Commission. Mr. Huang is a graduate of the Beijing Polytechnical University and holds a Masters degree in International Economics from the Foreign Affairs College of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing. Mr. Huang is also a part-time professor at Beijing Normal University.
