Deputy Director General, Research Institute of Finance, Development Research Centre of China’s State Council

Dr BA Shusong is Deputy Director-General of Finance Research Institute, Development Research Centre of the State Council, China. Dr Ba serves also Deputy Secretary General of China's Macroeconomic Society, Member of Experts Committee on Corporate Annuity of the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Member of China Securities Regulatory Commission Fund Committee, and Member of China Banking Regulatory Commission Examining Board. Prior to his current position, Dr Ba served as Vice President at Hangzhou Branch, the Bank of China, Assistant General Manager of Bank of China Hong Kong, Director of Strategic Development Commission at the Chinese Securities Association, and Deputy Director-General, Department of Economic Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R. Dr Ba has published a number of books including "Study of the New Basel Capital Accord", "Path of China's Financial Market Development", "A Monetary History of the United States," etc. Dr Ba is  appointed "2009 Global Youth Leader" by the World Economic Forum (YGL, www. younggloballeaders.org).
